We run a range of hands-on practical building courses in Stroud, all taught by working builders with real industry experience. The aim is to provide practical skills and confidence whether you’re interested in DIY or looking to start a career in construction.
Is there a minimum academic requirement to attend the courses?
Our goal is to give practical people the chance to develop real trade skills that can lead to employment or self‑employment, helping both individuals and the wider construction industry.
Do the courses have lots of written work?
The courses are designed to be mostly practical, so we presume a 90% practical class. There will be moment where we are interactive with questions, and obvious tutorials which are vital for you to fully understand the procedures taught.
